Benton County, Oregon - Radio Control Club

We have a field Pylon Racing meeting scheduled for Saturday March 1st at 2:00 PM at Adair Aerodrome. We will test fly the two proposed pylon planes for the 08 season. Hopefully we will vote and go forth. The first race is Thursday June 5th.

1st Possible Plane

A modified version of last years Scooter

• Wingspan of 24” High wing, Flat bottom airfoil

• Flying weight 9 oz??
• Motor Brushed 7.2 volt Speed 300
• Prop 4.9 by 4.3
• Battery was limited to 8oo mah 2 cell LiPo
• 3 channel- Rudder, Elevator, Throttle

• The mods we are suggesting are.
• 7.2 volt speed 400 brushed motor, Increase wing span to 30” & build Fuse from EPP foam

2nd Possible Plane

EPP Hacker Hyperion Reno Racer ARF

• Wingspan 30.7” Simi symmetrical
• Length 23.9”
• Flying Weight 9 oz??
• Motor wants a small brushless in the 1200 to 1400 kv range
• Prop:?? We have to figure this out
• Battery, try to match what we used last year 2 cell LiPo
• 4 channel- Aileron, Rudder, Elevator, Throttle
